How Hazardous Asbestos Was Removed – Leicester’s Tallest Building!

Goscote House - Leicester

IES Group have recently completed a project worth in excess of £530,000 for one of it’s key clients, Leicester City Council. The project involved the removal of various types of hazardous asbestos materials within a 21-storey block of flats that is to be demolished.

The asbestos removal project was carried out over a 16-week period, to the highest standards and without incident or accident.

Goscote House is one of Leicester’s tallest buildings and is surrounded by housing, shops, and St Peter’s Health Centre. It will have to be ‘reverse built’ in order to remove it from the city’s skyline.

IES are proud to have successfully completed the first stage of this delicate operation.
